Indivisible Bellingham: How to Win the (dis)Information War

The attacks on education, science, free speech, and democracy are founded on disinformation campaigns. They're profitable, too! Legacy media, blogs, social media fill our lives with information, but how do we parse it and can we trust what we read and hear? And now there's AI and deep fakes to confuse truth seekers even more. Dr. Ira Hyman, PhD in Psychology and a professor at WWU will speak at the next Indivisible Bellingham All Hands (in-person) meeting on this worrisome trend and will offer practical ways we can take action to fight back. Q&A if time permits. Please bring a friend, join us, and learn how you can take action! Monday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship, 1207 Ellsworth St.
